Cruising for a Cure! For the 3rd year in a row, over 500 people attended our annual fundraiser gala on November 6th, 2009. And what a night it was! The outpouring of love and support added to the success of the evening.
As a result of your generosity, a check for $35,000 was presented to the NYU Sarcoma Project for their continued research.On December 10th, 2009, members of the Foundation presented the grant to Dr. Eva Hernando and her research team at NYU.
EDNA'S MISSION IN ACTION
In addition to funding research, our mission also allows us to provide support to families affected by Leiomyosarcoma and other sarcomas. In 2009, in keeping with our mission, the Foundation was proud and honored to present gifts to three families affected by this disease.
